In implementing one pilot program, which provides for disposition to economically vulnerable PWDs organic products of high nutritional value, continues the Municipality of Athens through EATA (Athens Development and Tourism Promotion Company of the Municipality of Athens) and with resources from the European Social Fund.
In the first phase, 100 people who live in the Municipality of Athens and have a certified disability of at least 67% will join the package distribution program.
“This pilot program is innovative because it gives the weakest of the vulnerable the opportunity to have access to quality nutrition. In the Municipality of Athens we use every available resource, financial tool, national or European program to support those who are most in need. Beneficiaries and submission of applications
Interested persons with any type of disability regardless of age and type (motor, sensory, mental, mental or other) can submit an application to participate in the “Pilot Program for the distribution of solidarity food packages to citizens of the Municipality of Athens with accessibility difficulties” until Friday, August 19 2022 and time 17.00.

Priority will be given to applicants who are in a more difficult financial position.

The distributions of the organic food packages are 3 and will take place on September 15 and 30 as well as October 15.
