Three were “cut” from the National Team before the announcement of the final dozen of Eurobasket

Our national team carried out its last training on Greek soil, which will continue its preparation ahead of Eurobasket without the Panagiotis Kalaitzakis, Yiannis Kouseloglou and Dimitris Kaklamanakis.

The three of them were “cut” by Dimitris Itoudis one day before the departure of the team for Milan and awaiting the announcement of the final dozen players who will “attend” the upcoming European Championship!

The EEC update:

“With the completion of today’s (30/8) training of the Men’s National Team, the last one on Greek soil, Dimitris Itoudis thanked Panagiotis Kalaitzakis, Yiannis Kouseloglou and Dimitris Kaklamanakis for their essential contribution to the preparation, with the three not included in the team for Eurobasket. In fact, Kouzeloglou had returned after his first departure and Kaklamanakis was integrated as an emergency only last Saturday due to injury problems”.

“Because of these problems that exist, the treatments that continue to be done by the players who face them and the medical data that is constantly being given, for the final composition of the mission that will leave tomorrow (31/8) for Milan and by extension and for the 12th round of Eurobasket there will be newer updates”.

Let’s remember how the players who remain at the disposal of Itoudis they are: Yannis Antetokounmpo, Kalathis, Agravanis, Costas Antetokounmpo, Thanasis Antetokounmpo, Bohorides, Lountzis, Papanikolaou, Kaselakis, Papapetrou, Papagiannis, Larentzakis, Sloukas and Dorsey.
