The action “Running Out of Time” invites citizens of 18 countries to participate in the largest relay race ever attempted (7,767 km), to convey the message that “climate time is running out”.
The relay started on Friday 30 September from Glasgow, Scotland and will pass hand in hand to Egypt on Saturday 5 November, where the new UN climate change conference CO27 will take place.
The baton will pass through Greece on October 24-27, starting from Prespa and ending in Floisvos. From there it will sail to Cyprus, then to Israel until it reaches its final destination, Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt.
