Severe brain injuries are the cause of death of the 41-year-old man, who was found dead by his mother in the apartment where he lived with his parents, in Menemeni, Thessaloniki.

According to the forensic findings, he suffered multiple blows from a tool, which resulted in his death. The murder weapon is considered to be a shutter, which was reportedly found on the balcony of the house. The results of the histological and toxicological tests are now awaited.

Similar laboratory tests will also be carried out on his father, who is considered the main suspect for the commission of the crime.

The police investigation at the crime scene did not establish the presence of another person. The mother was confronted with the horrific sight when she returned home, so she immediately called ‘Immediate Action’.
