The trial will be held at the Supreme Court, where the case of the former Deputy Minister of Justice Dimitris Papagelopoulos and the former head of the Corruption Prosecution Eleni Touloupakis is already being tried. The trial will be held at the Supreme Court, where the case of the former Deputy Minister of Justice Dimitris Papagelopoulos and the former head of the Corruption Prosecution Eleni Touloupakis is already being tried. These two trials will be held in parallel, with different compositions and alternately. That is, one day one trial will be held and the next the other.
It is recalled that by the will of the Judicial Council of the Special Court for the Responsibility of Ministers, Mr. Pappas was referred to trial for the offense of dereliction of duty (misdemeanor), in relation to his actions in the case of the television license tender in 2016.
Along with Mr. Pappas, Mr. Kalogritsas is also referred for the crime of moral turpitude in the breach of duty (misdemeanor) of the former Minister of State.
