Pizzas are highlights in São Paulo’s cuisine, with thousands of places serving the dish throughout the state. What makes their taste and shape stand out are the international rankings, which increasingly include houses from São Paulo, such as the three that appeared among the 100 best in the world.
This time it was Bráz Pizzaria, voted the fifth best chain of artisan pizzerias in the world, the 50 Top World Artisan Pizza Chains 2022, from the Italian ranking 50 Top Pizza, which selects the best in the world. The result was released on Monday, 21.
The list includes pizzerias that have at least five locations in the country of origin or abroad, maintaining quality in all of them.
In the top ten positions, Italy leads with four pizzerias. Houses from France, the United States, England and Switzerland also appear.

Braz Pizzeria
The traditional pizzeria honors the first to arrive in Brazil, with Italian immigrants. Its inauguration took place in Moena, in 1998, and today it has nine units in São Paulo, Campinas and Rio de Janeiro. The pizzas are characterized by having a medium-thin center, which makes them crispy, and higher edges, with traditional toppings, Italian tomato sauce, lots of cheese and rigorous preparation in a wood-fired oven.
