In continuation of the circular of the Ministry of the Interior (Protocol number DIDAP/Φ/69/οικ 1866/5.2.2023 for the operation of the Public Sector on February 6, 2023, as well as the recommendations of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs for teleworking in the private sector as well ), the Hellenic Banks Association in today’s announcement clarifies that a large number of bank branches may not carry out transactions for the public, depending on the prevailing conditions, on Monday 6/2/2023 February 2023, especially in those areas affected by the special weather conditions (among them the Northern Sector of the Attica Region and the regional unit of Boeotia).
Therefore, as stated in the announcement of the EET, it is recommended that traders:
a) to limit as much as possible their visits to stores and
b) before going to them, there should be prior telephone communication with the specific store.
Other banking operations and electronic payments and necessary clearing of transactions will be carried out normally.
