EYE2023

Around 10,000 young people are expected to discuss and exchange ideas on how to shape the future of Europe on 9 and 10 June at the European Parliament in Strasbourg.

The event will feature nearly 200 activities both live and remotely – including discussions, seminars, sporting activities and artistic events. The activities are organized by the European Parliament in cooperation with other institutions, international organizations, youth organizations and civil society actors.

This year the event will focus on the European Elections 2024 – the role of democracy and youth participation will be examined in the panels and events at EYE2023.

In the final plenary of the event, the ideas, expectations and concerns of young people will be gathered in the EYE report which will be distributed to all MEPs of the European Parliament.

Opportunities for the media

All EYE2023 activities are open to press participation. In order to access Parliament’s premises and use the chambers and resources available to them, journalists must be accredited. Find detailed information on accreditation types on the Parliament Press Room website. Click here to apply for your accreditation.

The EYE event, taking place for the fifth time, brings together thousands of young people from all over the European Union and the world to participate and discuss the future of Europe.

It is a unique opportunity for young people aged 16 to 30 to interact, inspire each other and exchange ideas with activists, influencers and decision makers, in the heart of European democracy.

In 2021, EYE received ISO 20121 certification for sustainable event management, which will be renewed for EYE2023.
