However, the amount of substance that reached the little student’s body was such that fortunately it did not cause serious problems
A few days ago, in a Primary School in Lamia, a small student spat out the water he went to drink from his bottle because it was too bitter. The teacher even urged the child not to drink any other water from the bottle, than to go to the school tap.
A few hours later, another child from the same class, perhaps because of the weight of remorse, confesses to his mother that at noon at school, together with another classmate, they threw rat poison into the other child’s water.
The mother notifies his family and immediately the parents mobilize and take their child to the Hospital, where he remains for three days.
However, the amount of substance that reached the little student’s body was such that fortunately it did not cause serious problems.
Another equally shocking point in the case is the children’s answer to “why” they poured rat poison into their classmate’s water. Their answer was: “Because we wanted to harm him”
The Head of Primary Education, Efthymios Goumas, said to a local radio station: “We followed everything prescribed. We have updated accordingly. The children and parents are already being monitored by a psychologist.”
