Dozens have allegedly signed virtual cohabitation contracts in order to secure the five prescribed points and be transferred from Evros to the Alexandroupolis Police Department
Preliminary investigation for the investigation of criminal responsibilities regarding complaints that have seen the light of day and concern the signing virtual cohabitation contracts by new border guards, is carried out by the Alexandroupoli Primary Prosecutor’s Office.
It was preceded at the beginning of the week by a publication of the website evros-news which stated that out of the 250 young border guards who have been recruited to reinforce the forces in Evrodozens have signed virtual contracts of cohabitation in order to secure the five prescribed units to be placed in the Police Directorate of Alexandroupoli, serving in the Border Guard Departments of Feron, Tycheros and Soufli.
As it became known, the investigation is called to be carried out by the Internal Affairs Sub-Directorate of the Security Forces of Northern Greece, while the crimes being investigated move in all directions.
In addition to the criminal investigation, an administrative investigation is also being conducted by the Hellenic Police Headquarters, by order of the Minister of Citizen Protection, Takis Theodorikakos.
