“We need a huge help and a huge support” to Turkey and Syria due to the biblical disaster from the earthquakes, Nikos Dendias emphasized, upon his arrival at the Foreign Affairs Council (FAC) of the European Union.
We will discuss a number of important issues today, such as Ukraine, but I will inform my colleagues & about my visit to the earthquake-affected areas of Turkey & the huge aid that the country needs (statement when attending the SES). pic.twitter.com/IJMHkIPj0w

In detail, the Greek Foreign Minister emphasized:
“We have a number of important issues to discuss today, such as Ukraine, women’s rights in Afghanistan, but also issues raised by climate change and the huge challenge of environmental protection.
But beyond that, I will have the opportunity, right from the start, to inform my colleagues about my visit to the earthquake-affected areas of Turkey and, beyond that, to discuss how we can stand by the victims of the earthquake in Turkey and Syria.
I’m sorry to say, it was a biblical disaster, unprecedented. Consequently, a huge amount of help and a huge amount of support is needed.”
