The Municipality of Patra appeals to the citizens and visitors of Patras for the last three days of Halloween and Clean Monday, not to use their cars – especially in the city center.

“Due to the large number of visitors to Patras for our Carnival, the Municipal Authority in its announcement warmly requests and urges citizens, as well as visitors, to avoid, as much as possible, the use of cars – and especially in the city center – since various planned events will be underway starting on Friday afternoon, continuing on Saturday with the night footrace and concluding on Sunday with the grand parade and closing ceremony” reads a related announcement.

The Municipality of Patreon also reminds drivers of the obvious, i.e. not to double park, so as not to cause a traffic problem in the city and not to obstruct the passage of urban KTEL buses.

For the service of visitors and citizens, he reminds that there are free parking spaces on the Dymaion Coast (Kalentziotis parking lot), in the area of Agios Dionysios (in the old OSE engine room), where drivers can park their vehicles for free.

“Together, we can ensure that these three days are three days of joy for our city. One for all and all for one. We facilitate each other.

Our hospitable Patra welcomes its guests, giving its best,” concludes the announcement of the Municipality of Patra.
