Three people were arrested for possession and trafficking of narcotics in Rethymno, specifically two citizens (a man and a woman) and a foreigner.

After the appropriate use of information, the Drug Prosecution Department of the Rethymnon Security Sub-Directorate organized a coordinated police operation, during which the foreigner, who was driving a luxury car, was found to be supplying the citizens with narcotics. The two men were stopped, arrested as they were found in their possession and confiscated in total:

“Nine improvised packaging “clips”, containing cocaine, with a total weight of 6.3 grams, the amount of money of 530 euros as coming from the purchase and sale of drugs and three mobile phones.”

The vehicle was then stopped and a check carried out in it found carefully hidden eight improvised packages “clips”, containing cocaine, with a total weight of 5.6 grams and a mobile phone. This was followed by a search of the foreigner’s home, which was being used as a hiding place for narcotics, where they found and confiscated: “26 grams of cocaine in the form of a rock and a precision electronic scale, while the I.X. was confiscated. car as a means of transporting narcotics”.
