A professional of Albanian origin is being sought by the men of Patras Security as the culprit arson at the house of a well-known car dealer in the area of Zarouhleikon.

Everything happened on 4.30 in the morning of Maundy Thursday when local residents jumped out of their beds after hearing a loud bang.

Strangers had placed explosive device, which exploded near the entrance of a house, causing minor damage. Information indicates that the man the Security is looking for paid others to plant the explosive device. Probably people from Athens.

Inside the 4 minor children of the well-known father businessman were in the house at that time. No one knows what might have happened if the explosion had been bigger.

Patrinos testified to the Security that they had personal differences with the specific man whom he considers suspicious and that a few days ago he had threatened him by “photographing” his future action.

The businessman is one of the most well-known in Patras and nothing has been heard against him.

The investigation into the incident was undertaken by the Patras Police, while the owner of the house also testified.
