The first place in the world in terms of dishes made from entrails is the chick.

According to the website tasteatlas.com, which presented the world’s top 50 dishes made from offal, two Greek dishes are in the list, which resulted from public ratings.

As we mentioned, the chick with a rating of 4.6 is in first place, with the tasteatlas to state:

“Kokoretsi is a traditional Greek dish consisting of lamb or goat offal cut into small pieces, seasoned with lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper. The giblets are then covered with fat to hold the pieces in place and skewered over the coals.

It is traditionally eaten as an appetizer or meze on Easter Sunday in Greece. Although associated with Easter, it can usually be found year-round throughout the country. Kokoreci is also popular throughout the Balkans and the name of the dish comes from the Albanian word kukurec, which means tripe.’

In the 20th place is frigadeli

The list also includes a second Greek dish, frygadeli with a rating of 4, for which the page states:

This traditional Greek dish is made with pieces of beef liver that are seasoned and wrapped in lamb fat. The liver is then skewered and grilled. Frygadelli is traditionally associated with the Ionian Islands, namely Lefkada, and is usually enjoyed as an appetizer or meze usually accompanied by lemon juice and country bread on the side.
