Bad weather Daniel: And the Armed Forces in the effort to collect dead animals from Thessaly – Message Dendia
The Armed Forces will have an active role in collecting dead animals from the affected from bad weather Daniel areas of Thessalyas announced by the Minister of Defense Nikos Dendias.
With his post, the Minister of National Defense informs how the Armed Forces play an active role, in consultation with the competent authorities, in the collection of dead animalswhile at the same time observing all the necessary protection measures for the staff.
In the context of safeguarding public health, the GEETHA informs that teams are immediately set up to collect the dead animals in the areas affected by the floods.
Special health teamwill go immediately to the selected collection sites and undertake the task of health surveillance and support of the Armed Forces personnel that will be involved.
The personnel of the Armed Forces who will assist in this purpose will wear the prescribed personal protective equipment against infectious biological agents.
