Especially after the issue that arose with the school card of students, which confirms that a minor student has done a self test, but is not accepted by some shopkeepers, Mr. Georgantas stressed to ANT1 that there will be a regulation that will clarify that it will not be needed students to undergo another test and how the school card will be accepted by the shopkeepers.

“What is confirmed on the school card is through the application of the self test, that is, it is essentially confirmed that the child has undergone the self-diagnostic test, which is provided. However, because a school card is written, it employs some professionals. Children have to do two self tests to go to school, while for extra activities on weekends they have to do one more. We will find a way with competent ministries to have that regulation that will make it clear that they do not need to undergo another self test. The school card proves that the student took a self test, a shopkeeper can accept it as it is. In any case, in order to avoid misinterpretation, clarifications will be given in the immediate future “, he emphasized characteristically.

What changes for those who have been vaccinated abroad

Regarding those who have been vaccinated abroad, have the certificate and the system does not “read” them, but also for those who want to make the third installment in our country, Mr. Georgantas clarified that “a system of global interoperability of all certificates of all countries does not exist. The EU has done its part, not only for the countries that belong to it, but also for the additional 16 partner countries whose systems have been recognized and integrated, such as Israel, Norway, Iceland and Turkey. If not today, tomorrow, an amendment will be tabled by the Ministry of Health, in cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Government, according to which we will create two new registers: the register of vaccinated abroad and the register of those who have been sick abroad. This will provide a solution, first of course an editing of the certificates they carry. “Certificates are of two types, those that are digitally verifiable and some that are not digitally verifiable, so there needs to be more processing,” he said. “as their certificate will have been recognized as valid and reliable, either to get the European certificate so that they can move comfortably, or to make the commemorative dose”.
