The digital assistant will search for all public services and guide the citizen, giving combined answers to simple, but also more complex questions.
The digital assistant of gov.gr did not have time to go live and already the citizens rushed to ask him questions, to test the new application that guides them step by step as to what they should do for the service they are looking for.
Already, in the 2.5 hours that mAigov was “up”. received approx 4000 questions. Remember that the digital assistant will search for all public services and guide the citizen, giving combined answers to simple, but also more complex questions.
With the entry of AI on gov.gr, the citizen or business will not have to search for gov services and “Mitos” procedures. A written question – even a spoken one – will suffice.
How does it work
The mAIgov initiative uses artificial intelligence tools that will allow the assistant to learn through its daily interactions with citizens, resulting in the chatbot continuously improving over time. In the test phase, it will be possible to serve approximately 240 questions in Greek per minute, a number that will increase in the next period.
All message exchanges with the digital assistant are anonymous, that is, the application has no information about the citizen it serves, ensuring the protection of users’ personal data. The digital assistant is already trained not to ask for or accept personal information such as passwords or payment information.
