The military cooperation program between Greece and Armenia for 2024 was signed, yesterday, Monday, December 18, in Yerevan by the director of the Directorate of International Relations of the Greek Armed Forces, Brigadier General Vasilios Tsami and the director of the Department of Defense Policy and International Cooperation of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, Levon Ayvazyan.

As announced today by GEETHA, the program includes 26 activities of which 23 will take place in Greece and 3 in Armenia.

The activities concern among others:

● Collaboration in operational training activities.

● Joint training of Special Forces – Special Operations Forces.

● Co-training on Electronic War subjects.

● Participation in trainings of the Multinational Training Center for Peace Support Operations (PKEEFE).

● Participation in trainings of the Hellenic Armed Forces on subjects of Electronic Warfare and Cybersecurity.

● Exchange of experiences and lessons from the use of Air Defense Systems.

● Staff exchange and visits to schools and multinational schools, as well as seminars.

● Exchange of hosting military personnel in infrastructures of the Armed Forces of the two countries.

● Visits of Armenian Officers to Greek Military Hospitals for information on the operation of military health facilities.

● Staff meetings and talks on matters of mutual interest, with special emphasis on the field of Military Intelligence.

The signing of the program confirms the two countries’ strong military ties and further enhances the operational capabilities and level of interoperability of their Armed Forces, helping to strengthen the role played by Greece and Armenia in ensuring stability and security in the wider region , the statement added.
