Special operational action at the Korydallos Reservation Storewas held by Narcotics Prosecution Sub-Directorate of the Attica Security Directoratewith the assistance of police officers of the EKAM, the Sub-Directorate for the Restoration of Order, the Sub-Directorate for the Prosecution of Crimes Against Life and Property, OPKE teams as well as a police dogearly morning hours today, Thursday, December 21, 2023.
In this context, targeted searches were carried out, in the presence of a public prosecutor, in -39- cells, where -3- inmates were found to be in possession of narcotic substances and items subject to the arms law.
In particular, a 28-year-old man was caught in possession of an improvised nylon package with -7.2- grams of cocaine, while a 53-year-old and a 29-year-old man were caught in possession of three improvised knives, 18- and 16-cm long.
At the same time, -10- mobile phones with their accessories (hands free, chargers) were found and confiscated.
A case file was filed against the above for – as the case may be – a violation of the legislation on addictive substances and on weapons.
