Photos released online show terrified students trying to escape the sniper
A sniper spread death and terror at Charles University in the center of Prague this early afternoon.
The assailant – who was neutralized by the police – started shooting indiscriminately on the university grounds.

At the time of the shootings, the University administration sent an urgent message to the students to stay locked in their classrooms and offices. A student uploaded a photo of the classroom door that he has “rigged” with chairs. The gunman tried to get in but couldn’t…
