EFET is proceeding with the withdrawal of packets of noodles, after checks it carried out.

According to EFET, “ILIS Hylopita Fardia” noodles of 450 gr had traces of milk due to contaminationwithout this possibility being indicated in the ingredients in an appropriate way.

This makes them dangerous for people with milk allergies. The batches have been withdrawn and the company itself has proceeded with a relevant update.

“E.F.E.T. and in particular the Regional Directorate of Western Greece of E.F.E.T., during the inspection – investigation, regarding the food “ILIS Hylopita Fardia” of 450 gr, which is produced and distributed by the company “GIANNARAS I. THEODOROS » at the Generals’ Vault in Zacharo Ilias, found that as part of the company’s self-check, traces of milk were found in the specific product, with batch number Lot 3902 and expiration date 12-31-2025 due to contamination, without the possibility of this being indicated in its ingredients with the suitable way.

E.F.E.T. requested the immediate recall of the entire batch of the product from the company, and the relevant checks are already underway.

The company “GIANNARAS I. THEODOROS” has already made an update of the consumer public by posting a relevant announcement in its store, and on its website with simultaneous information to customers.

Consumers, who are allergic to milk and milk-based products, and have already purchased the product (photos below), are asked not to consume it.”
