In four hotels of Corfu the rescued passengers of the passenger car ferry Euroferry Olympia were transported, after completing their identification in a special waiting room of the Corfu Port Authority, while information from the Corfu Port Authority states that another 14 people are missing.

According to the CEO of the Corfu Port Authority, Zervopoulos Spyridon, “the rescued passengers who were transported to the specially designed area of ​​OLKE, were provided with care, food and health coverage, while after their identification they were transported to the hotels without any delay. “We hope there will be no losses after this unpleasant incident,” said Mr. Zervopoulos.

The Deputy Minister of Interior, Stelios Petsas, who has been on the island since yesterday for official reasons, as well as the Secretary General of Health Services, Giannis Kotsiopoulos, and the Commander of the 6th RA, Giannis Karvikas, also participated in the coordination of the rescue and care operation.
