Vandalism in Thessaloniki. Strangers spray painted him Tower of the Triangle in area of the Upper Town.
As you will see in the video posted on Tik Tok by the user tripsanisphotography1974, unknown people wrote slogans with red paint on the wall of the tower. “What a shame there are no words to describe the desecration of the monument suffered by the iconic Trigonio tower” commented the user who shot the video.

The Triangle Tower
On the northern edge of the eastern wall of Thessaloniki is the second important tower of the city built at the end of the 15th century, almost at the same time as the White Tower that occupied its southern edge. Both fortresses have striking architectural and morphological similarities, with the difference being the way the Triangle tower is founded on the sloping terrain of the Upper Town.
