The news that a 90-year-old man is accused of indecency against an 11-year-old girl in Sarti, Halkidiki, is shocking. The 90-year-old was recently brought to the public prosecutor’s office and charged with a felony. The defendant remained in the Polygyros courthouse for approximately one hour and 15 minutes and was charged with sexual abuse of a woman incapable of resisting, sexual acts with a minor under the age of 12 and illegal detention.

As thesstoday.gr writes, tomorrow the 90-year-old will be taken to the investigator in order to apologize and decide whether he will be remanded in custody. He remains in custody until his apology. He denies the accusations, while as he said he would never mind an angel.

According to the relatives, the little girl went out to play and “disappeared” with the parents looking for her. The child returned home two hours later crying.

According to what the relatives of the minor said to the ERT camera, the child managed to escape by herself from the hands of the old man, went straight home and told her mother what had happened.

“Terrified, he went straight into the room. I went straight after him. because he only talks to me. I say my child what happened. Uncle, he says, he started caressing me, catching me kissing me and I went to leave and he holds my hand and pulls me into the house he says. I started to cry and that’s how I was able to and I left,” said a relative of the child.

Parents and relatives went to the old man’s house to ask for the reason and he, as they complain, threatened them with an ax and a carbine.
