The perpetrator legally possessed the weapon in question, for which he had a valid permit and all the necessary documents.

On May 12, 2024, following the filing of a case file for an incident of domestic violence, the relevant authorities had removed the weapon in question from the possession of the perpetrator, however, due to his acquittal, by decision of the Single-Member Misdemeanor Court of Agrini, and as provided for in the current legislation, since the weapon had not been used in the incident in question, after 15 days it was returned to him at his request”.
