Shock and anger have been caused by the case with the 74-year-old priest from Chania, Crete, who turned out to have been beating and raping the now 64-year-old elder while also abusing their children for decades.

According to zarpanews.gr, the case has already taken the path of justice and a temporary order has been issued by which the Court prohibits the priest from approaching his wife.

However, the priest continues to function, even though the case is well known in the local community and in the relevant Metropolis.

How the case unfolded

According to what is described in the case file, the priest’s family suffered from his abusive behavior for many decades. Her 64-year-old wife, from the age of 14, endured his violent and jealous nature, rape, physical violence, outbursts of anger, threats and verbal abuse.

It took 50 years to reveal what was described in the case file.

The case was revealed when two months ago the children discovered the diary of their mother, who was then hospitalized in a serious condition. That’s when she broke her silence and asked her children to take legal action to protect her from her priest husband
