The first day of the trial for the murder of the 41-year-old pregnant woman, whose body was found last January, inside a trunk, in an impassable area near Monopigados, on the borders of the prefectures of Thessaloniki and Halkidiki. The trial will continue tomorrow with the prosecutor’s proposal and the purchases of civil action and defense attorneys.

After the end of today’s proceedings, relatives of the deceased moved against the two defendants, a scene that had been repeated in the morning during their transfer to the courts, while a conflict with the defense witnesses was threatened, and the intervention of the police was needed to avoid the worst.
