Two citizens were arrested for drugs in Chania and the police confiscated more than 300 grams of cannabis and cartridges.

The arrest was made by patrolling police officers of the Chania Traffic Department and the Chania Police Operations Department who went to an area of ​​the Municipality of Chania, to investigate a complaint of a possible burglary in a warehouse.

At the site they found the two men and immobilized them and as it turned out the warehouse is owned by one of them. Searches followed at the warehouse, the vehicle and their homes where a total of 315 grams of cannabis, a precision scale, 36 cartridges and a magazine were found and confiscated.

The preliminary investigation is carried out by the Drug Prosecution Department of the Chania Crime Prosecution and Investigation Sub-Directorate.

In another case, a motorcycle theft case was solved in Chania, while a case file was filed against two people.

From the investigation of the police officers of the Kissamos Department, there was an immediate investigation of a case of theft of a parked motorcycle which, in the evening hours of December 10, was taken by unknown persons from the area of ​​Chania.

From the preliminary investigation, as it emerged, the citizen and the citizen removed the motorcycle, at which point a case file was filed against them. The motorcycle was found, assigned to its owner, with the preliminary investigation being carried out by the Kissamos Police Department.
