Dozens of artisanal bakeries and experienced bakers participated in its preparation, as well as students from the School of Baking and Pastry of EPA.S DYPA Galatsiou. The ingredients used to create the king cake were: Flour (5.9 tons), sunflower oil (1,900 kg), eggs (5,700 pcs), powdered sugar (620 kg), granulated sugar (600 kg), cognac (85 lt) and ground cinnamon (75 kg).
In the presence of thousands of citizens from Peristeri, but also from all of Attica, the mayor, Andreas Pachaturidiscut last night, Monday December 30, the “Vasilopita of the Citizens”which was distributed to those who attended the celebration.
