The operation of the commercial information system has been temporarily suspended of all post officesafter the cyber attack with malicious software received by the Hellenic Post (ELTA).
As announced by ELTA, the following services will not be provided until the problem is remedied:
- Account receipts
- Send mail
- financial services
All these functions, except the financial ones, will be normally served by ELTA Courier.
According to the company, the restoration of the problem has already begun and will be completed as soon as possible. “More information will be available tomorrow after the evaluation of the data and guided by the security of the system and the transactions”, ELTA reports.
