The message has a warning about severe weather “in places strong in the islands of Chios, Samos and Ikaria from now to the morning of 01/04/2025” and is asked to be careful in traveling and following the instructions of the authorities.

Closed schools in Kos
By the decision of the Mayor of Kos Mr. Theodosis Nikitaras, the operation of the Primary and Secondary Education Units as well as the Kindergartens, tomorrow Tuesday, April 1st, across the island is suspended.
The mayor of Kos made the decision, due to the extreme weather events in the Aegean area, with a prognosis of their expansion in our area and the potential danger that may arise in the attendance and withdrawal of students.
Suspension is valid for tomorrow, Tuesday, April 1st.
The Municipality of Kos calls on the islanders for everyone’s safety, to show increased attention and to avoid unnecessary movements.
