Ten people are included in the case for the savage attack, with fan motives, against a 14-year-old, which took place on the coastal avenue of M. Alexandrou, in Thessaloniki, two 24 hours before the murderous attack against 19-year-old Alkis.
The police investigation revealed the involvement of two more young people in the incident, who were added to the eight who were initially identified by the police authorities’ investigation.
All of them are people aged 16 to 19 (including two foreigners), and according to what became known, they were called to give explanations to police officers of the Security Department and the Toumba-Triandria Police Department in the capacity of the suspect.
The case file – which includes video from a security camera of the area that recorded the attack – is expected to be sent to the Prosecutor’s Office of Thessaloniki to decide on the further criminal treatment of the persons involved.
The incident happened on the night of January 29, when the The perpetrators unprovokedly attacked the 14-year-old and beat him, causing bodily injuries to his head and body. In fact, as the victim had complained, while he was receiving the blows, they asked him what team he was. Thanks to the intervention of employees of an adjacent hotel who perceived the scene, he escaped the worst.
The victim was accompanied by his 15-year-old brother, who managed to escape.
