His Eminence the Metropolitan Mr. Gabriel visited on Holy Monday and Holy Tuesday the Holy Temples of Ag. Georgiou Nea Ionia and Ag. Efimias of Nea Chalkidona respectively, where with the kind sponsorship of the members of the General Poverty Fund of the Holy Metropolis, of the “Sklavenitis” Group, of the law firm “Benetatos Ioannis”, of Mr. Konstantinos Tassoulas, of Athens, Getfoods Ltd Panou Babamtsi and Aegean Baltik Bank offered “Love Bundles” to our distressed brothers with a significant amount of food and other basic necessities.
The delivery of the parcels was carried out by His Holiness himself, accompanied by clergymen and volunteers of the social structures of the Holy Metropolis.
