The Council of Ministers, chaired by the Prime Minister, is meeting today at 11:00 via teleconference.
The topics of the cabinet meeting are:
– Presentation by the Minister of Environment and Energy Costas Skrekas of the legislative initiatives: a) National Climate Law, b) Modernization of the licensing process of Renewable Energy Sources projects, electricity storage, offshore wind farms, Transformation of Greek
– Presentation by the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Kostis Hatzidakis of the bill for the modernization of the Electronic National Social Security Agency.
– Presentation by the Minister of Health Thanos Plevris of the bill: National Organization for the Provision of Health Services – Quality control criteria, control of pharmaceutical expenditure.
– Presentation by the Minister of Justice Costas Tsiaras of the legislative initiatives: a) Reforms in the legislative framework of the National School of Judicial Officers, b) Modernization of the Land Registry, Rhodes, Kos – Leros.
– Presentation by the Minister of Finance Christos Staikouras of the legislative initiatives for the incorporation of Directives 2019/2162 on the issuance and public supervision of covered bonds, 2019/1160 for the cross-border distribution of collective investment organizations, 2019/1153 for the facilitation of financial and other information on the prevention, detection, investigation or prosecution of criminal offenses.
– Presentation by the Minister of State George Gerapetritis for the Annual Codification Program.
