With the deposition of the commander of the EYP Themistocles Demiris the work of the Investigative Committee continues today investigating the case of “violation of the confidentiality of the communications of the president of PASOK-KINAL and MEP Mr. Nikos Androulakis by the EYP or by other natural or legal persons, the confirmed attempt to trap his mobile phone with the Predator malicious software, the illegal use of it in the territory and the investigation into the existence of responsibilities of the Prime Minister Mr. Kyriakos Mitsotakis and any other involved natural or legal entity”.
The testimony of the EYP commander, behind closed doors and in accordance with the rules of complete secrecy, began last Thursday afternoon and is expected to conclude today.
The next witness who has been called to testify is the president of the Independent Authority for Ensuring the Privacy of Communications, honorary vice-president of the CoE Christos Rammos. His testimony is expected to begin this afternoon.
