The clear position of the British government on the question of the shadows that the Turkish side is trying to create with regard to Greek sovereignty over the Aegean islands is conveyed through SKAI Foreign Office.

“We do not consider the sovereignty of the Aegean islands to be in question,” a source from the British Foreign Ministry told SKAI, when asked to comment on the tension between the two member countries NATO and to answer a question about whether London shares Greek concerns about it Turkish provocative rhetoric.

The British position is formulated on the eve of the first session of the European Political Community in Prague, in which the Prime Minister Liz Truss will finally participate, as well as Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Ms Truss is expected in her position to urge other countries not to weaken their support for Ukraine, as well as to abandon any thoughts of returning to the use of Russian fossil fuels when the war ends.
