“I rule out a general lockdown. “But I do not rule out anything else.” stressed speaking on SKAI 100.3 radio the Minister of Development Adonis Georgiadis.

He noted that no one knows how the pandemic will develop due to the Homeric mutation. Obviously, he added, he has neither the desire nor the intention to take measures concerning vaccinated people.

Mr. Georgiadis characterized the increased testing as a logical measure.

On the occasion of the micron variant, he stressed that it is only a matter of time before it prevails in our country and noted that this is why scientists are calling on the population to take the boosting dose.

Referring to the NSS, he estimated that if those over 60 are vaccinated, the system will withstand. However, he noted that as January 16 approaches, when financial sanctions will be imposed on citizens over 60, the number of people going to be vaccinated will increase.

Regarding the crisis in the energy market, he said that the estimates speak of a crisis that will last until March. However, he stressed that the situation will be reassessed and as long as the crisis lasts the government will be present.
