In spite of Erdogan’s online appearance yesterday at the event at the Akouy nuclear plant, there is still strong concern in Turkey about the state of health of the Turkish president. The Turkish media even speculate that “Erdogan might have something serious”.

The Turkish president is under the microscope of the Turkish media who observe his every move: “He does not return to rallies, he has slow movements, a frozen gaze, reduced ability to judge” they comment, as transmitted from Istanbul by the correspondent of SKAI. Manolis Kostidis.

Fatih Portakal, presenter of Sozcu TV said: “Our issue is the state of health of Recep Tayyip Erdogan, because even today it was announced that he will not follow his program and as citizens of this country we are trying to understand what is happening. Like there’s something serious. I don’t know exactly, but Erdogan himself had asked to increase the pace of the campaign, while they said they would deal with the earthquake-stricken areas.”

And he continued: “While now the health minister says as soon as possible the president will return to the election campaign, that is, we do not know when Erdogan will return to the election rallies. Another party official tells him that maybe his program will relax. Is it something more than an infection? Maybe. Because lately we have been seeing Erdogan’s moves. Slow walking, slow movements, frozen gaze as if his judgment is impaired.
