“Black does not suit Greece, but unfortunately it still suits SYRIZA,” says ND representative Akis Skertsos.

“In today’s presentation of the “new” old program of SYRIZA, Mr. Tsipras’ shift to a more positive and less toxic discourse lasted barely 5 to 7 minutes. Immediately afterwards he returned to his old familiar self, who always sees wherever he turns his gaze a black Greece in ever greater “divergence from Europe”.

“The fact that 53% of voters who either voted for New Democracy or left his party disagree with him does not seem to concern him at all. By re-launching, today, their old program with the same old ideas that were condemned at the ballot box in the form of a concise communication brochure, they have proven that they are only making changes of “showcase” and not of substance” notes the ND representative.

In fact, he says, in their haste they forgot to include two of the three basic and permanent demands of any government: the dynamic growth of the economy by attracting more and better private investment, and the security of our borders and cities, with fair but strict management of immigration issue. Apparently, they don’t concern them as issues, and that might explain why they don’t say anything about them in the 9 sections of their “new” old program.

“The problem of SYRIZA is its ideas and not their communication. Because, after all, they reproduce the anachronistic economic model that went bankrupt in the last decade without saying anything about the Greece of 2030 that we envision and deserve. A proud, European country, more productive, with higher incomes, greener, digital, social and powerful” concludes Mr. Skertsos.
