The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Giorgos Gerapetritis, is making his first official visit abroad as head of Greek diplomacy today in Cyprus.

He was initially received by the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulidis, and then had a private meeting with his Cypriot counterpart, Konstantinos Kobos, regarding the developments in Cyprus, as well as bilateral relations and matters of regional and multilateral cooperation.

After the meeting, according to ERT, the two Foreign Ministers of Greece and Cyprus pointed out the excellent relations between Greece and Cyprus and stressed that their common goal is to restart the dialogue on the Cyprus issue, based on the proposals of Mr. Christodoulidis and with full respect of International Law.
