To ensure that all businesses will have the opportunity to install POS without interruption until January 31, when the relevant deadline expires, asks with a question submitted to the Minister of National Economy and Finance the parliamentary representative of PASOK-Movement for Change Michalis Katrinis, after the big problems in the practical implementation of the measure that arose, due to the requirements put forward by the banks.

In addition, it asks the responsible minister to answer how the government intends to deal with this situation, since at the same time that businesses are unable to obtain POS to carry out their transactions, they are facing sanctions and fines from the state due to the non-compliance POS installation.

The PASOK MP points out more specifically, that many banks present obstacles to companies for the issuance of a POS license, such as the three-year commitment with fixed annual compensation, specific turnovers on the part of the companies, but also the condition of the absence of debts to the banks, when there are hundreds of thousands of businesses that have debts to servicers and banks.
