The Prime Minister will travel to the US and Washington to attend a White House event on the Greek Revolution of 1821
Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is expected to meet with the American president at the White House on April 4. Government sources confirm the specific date for the meeting, while official confirmation from Washington is awaited.
The Prime Minister he will go to the USA and Washington in order to be “present” at a White House event on the Greek Revolution of 1821.
As stated by the American ambassador to Greece, George Tsunis who attended the “city hub events” conference held in Alexandroupoli, the meeting of the Greek prime minister with the American president was certified on the sidelines of the program of the event.

The discussion between the two leaders is expected to revolve around issues of bilateral relations, with the armaments and cooperation of Greece with the USA in terms of energyto be in the center.
According to estimates, progress in Greek-Turkish relations, as well as developments in Russia’s war in Ukraine, will also be discussed.
The prime minister had planned to travel to Washington last January, however, he fell ill with the coronavirus and the meeting was cancelled.
