For the intense political scene on the occasion of the publication that spoke of “editing” in the conversations of the drivers of the fatal train in Tempi, the ND MEP candidate and director of the Prime Minister’s press office was mentioned, Dimitris Tsiodras speaking on the show “Mismatches” on SKAI.

“Instead of seeing if it is true – which is not true – he hastened not only to adopt it but to submit a motion of no confidence against the government and I don’t think this is a coincidence,” stressed Mr. Tsiodras.

Asked if the government would name the powerful financial interests behind the motion of no confidence as he alleged, he emphasized that Mr. Androulakis “adopts a fake news and submits a motion of no confidence. This is no accident.”

To the question who had access to the leaked conversations; Mr. Tsiodras characteristically said: “This is a matter for justice to find. The question is whether justice has the whole material and not “teased”. So he has it as it is.”

Continuing, he added that the “opposition believes that it has found a vehicle to hurt the government, taking advantage of the demand of public opinion for justice and the pain of the relatives. We have reached the point where Mr. Kasselakis is asking for observers in the national elections, as if we are Zimbabwe” and he added: “is it possible to give this image of the country?”

“I understand the demand for justice and accountability. From this to Mr. Androulakis embracing the sprayed theories of Mr. Velopoulos to file a motion of censure, there is a difference.”

Afterwards, Mr. Tsiordas, referring to the tragic accident in Tempi, said: “We had a collision between two trains because there was no remote control. But remote control did not exist for 120 years and does not exist in Europe’s largest network, but trains do not collide. There is a question from relatives if the second train carried anything. Also the expert says no. He says yes to his relatives. For this reason, the judiciary sent an external sample to an external laboratory, so that it could be examined if there was indeed anything suspicious.”

Regarding the allegations of “shaming” and editing, he argued that all these “obscure the real causes of the case”.
