“The citizen feels unlimited insecurity. And especially the poorest Greeks and the middle class who do not have the financial means to pay what the state had to offer every day”, stressed the president of PASOK
He met with the Panhellenic Federation of Police Officers after noon Nikos Androulakis. The meeting took place in the office of the president of PASOK-Movement of Change, in the Parliament and discussed the phenomena of increasing crime and the insecurity caused to citizens as well as the problems faced by police officers.
“The government’s doctrine of ‘law and order’, as it developed after 2019, has completely collapsed. Crime and delinquency are on the rise. At the same time, we had the tragic event of a new colleague of yours who lost his life trying to earn a little extra money, as some are forced to work two and three jobs. That’s why PASOK’s priority is to have a meritocracy and salary increase in the House”, said its president PASOK-KINAL while pointing.
“The citizen feels unlimited insecurity. And especially the poorest Greeks and the middle class who cannot afford to pay what the state had to offer every day, in all the neighborhoods of the country”.
On the occasion of the arrests for his tragic death MAT police officer in Rentis and in events of extreme violence inside and outside sports venues, Mr. Androulakis stressed: “For us, safety is a priority. I believe that there should be a strong meritocracy in the House. The best officers should be the ones who will offer to the Greek people. Completely de-partisan. We experienced many bad events in this area in recent years that hurt the prestige of the House and show that New Democracy and SYRIZA saw even the Police as loot. I also want to tell you that for this reason we included, on my own initiative, in our ballot your excellent colleague and excellent officer, George Kalliakmanis, because we want these issues – both symbolically and substantively – to signal that for us are a priority”.
