“We have done our best to organize a good pre-Olympics” Kyriakos Mitsotakis said
With athletes of the national basketball team met the prime minister in the afternoon Kyriakos Mitsotakis, ahead of the pre-Olympic basketball tournament being held in our country.
“Our relationship with the National Basketball Association is known and given. And love is a given” noted the prime minister while talking to the players and staff of the national team.
“We are very happy – and I say this on behalf of the whole team – that you are here with us, because this shows not only the support, it shows all the positive energy and all the vibes, I would say, positive, from all over Greece. We represent all of Greece, so we feel that we are all one body and that’s how we’re going to win.” said the president of the Greek basketball federation Vangelis Liolios.
“And for my part, Mr. Prime Minister, and for the players, we want to thank you for coming here, because the national team does not look at anyone, it is above everyone and it is national pride and honor that we are here, as Greeks” , emphasized the coach of the national team Vasilis Spanoulis.
The members of the National team thanked Kyriakos Mitsotakis for his support in organizing the pre-Olympic Games in Greece.
“We have done our best to organize a good pre-Olympics. Enjoy it and make us all happy”said the Prime Minister, in which the players they gave away a basketball and a jersey with his name on itsigned by all and the president of the EEC a laurel wreath on behalf of the federation.
