Having gathered a majority of 160 positive votes in the 3 previous – fruitless – votes, today’s special plenary session is expected to take out ‘White tobacco’as in the fourth vote the constitutional bar falls to 151 votes (absolute majority). In addition to the 156 MPs of the New Democracy, the Independent MPs are expected to be placed to be positioned: Antonis Samaras (former prime minister), Marios Salmas (coming from ND), Harris Katsivardas (coming from the Spartans) and Paul Sarakis (coming from the Greek solution).

Immediately after the announcement of the result, the current body president, Nikitas Kaklamanis will go to the second floor of the Greek Parliament to the office 258 – which was previously maintained by K. Karamanlis – And the outgoing Speaker of the House uses to formally inform him of the results.
