The women’s national volleyball team drew 2-2 with Slovenia in Mikra in the first of three friendly matches between the two representative groups, following their draw in the former Yugoslavian country, ahead of their participation in the 2023 European Championship qualifiers.

Marcelo Abbondanza’s gymnasts show competitive improvement in each friendly and put in another good performance in Monday’s match.

Nikologianni with 16 points, as a diagonal, were together with Kyparissi the first scorers for Greece, with Handava adding 9, coming off the bench.

The sets: 25-23, 22-25, 25-18, 21-25
