“It was a good week for us. We had a good rhythm, coming from a great victory over Peristeri. What characterized us these days was the concentration, from the coaching staff to all the players. When you have the opportunity to play in such a big derby, as it is with PAOK, it is something very special. It is very easy to get motivated in such matches.

I have played against PAOK as a player of Iraklis, but I believe that ARIS – PAOK is the big derby of Thessaloniki. It is important to play in such matches and I hope that we will be in the right situation to leave the opponent’s home with the victory.

I do not think that mind games are needed in such games. It is not good for players to think too much about the nature of such games, but they should see it as another game, in terms of their preparation. We know that we will encounter an explosive atmosphere and I know that the children are excited to have such an experience.

Personally, I’m excited to be back. This was my first week in the regular schedule of the team, after my injury. We trained very well during the week and I believe that I will be 100% ready for the race. I return to a great match, the history of these games is long and rich. I expect PAOK to be well prepared, both in terms of the team and the fans. In such matches, the score or the situation in which the teams are does not play a big role. You have to come in focused and follow your plan to get the victory “.
