Lucescu about his father: “I stayed 90 minutes in front of the TV to find him”

He also commented on how much reading helped him in his coaching career: “Being a coach means you have to study, research a lot, read a lot, do it with pleasure and ease. If you don’t have the patience, there is no way to improve. I read a lot. They didn’t have the opportunity for me to have experiences with coaches from abroad».

As for the first time he saw his father compete, he said: “The first images I have are in front of the TV looking for him. It was a national team match, I think, I knew my father was there. I sat in front of the TV for 90 minutes out of breath to find him. There is a very special bond between us and between me and my mother. I lived from the age of two and a half, three years the atmosphere of football, around the team».
